Orientation for the New Teachers

Hangzhou Sesame Street Foreign Language Education Consultant Co., Ltd. provides free training and orientation once the teachers arrive in Hangzhou . The training courses include:

Chinese laws
Awareness of culture shocks you may encounter in China
How to teach Chinese students
Chinese classroom culture;
Chinese classroom management;
Lesson Plans;
Lesson activities;
Teaching Demonstration;
Teaching practice and Observation
prevention and resolution of problems you may have;
Basic Mandarin;

Daily Schedule

Breakfast: 8: 20-8: 50
Morning class: 9:00-11:30
Lunch: 12: 00-12 :30
Afternoon class: 15:00-17:00
Dinner: 18:00-18: 30

New teachers are welcome to arrive and participate two days before this time. There are additional training periods planned for teachers who arrive on other dates. You will stay in Hangzhou a minimum of 1 day before leaving for your school. During this time, as well as giving you basic training and orientation, sightseeing, we make sure that you have a chance to rest and recuperate from your travel to China .
